Lunch & a glass of wine
We stop for lunch at a local winery — plenty of time to talk art and relax together before the next gallery. Past guests have enjoyed lunch at places like Duckett's Mill, with plentiful, tasty food and a relaxed pace.
What our guests say
Very relaxing as a local not to have to think about where to go to see fine artwork. The day felt very relaxed with no pressure to rush in the exhibitions. Lunch at one of the local wineries was plentiful and tasty. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area.
I took this tour with my sister to see art of the Great Southern Art Trail. We both found it such a relaxing way to spend the day taking in art at a number of galleries and indulging in a splendid lunch at Duckett's Mill. The artists at each venue welcomed us on arrival and explained their processes and works to us and in a couple of places, took us out back to see their workshops. Our tour guide, Tim, was great and we enjoyed some interesting conversations with him along the way. I'm a local in the region, and while I could have driven my car to the venues, the special treatment the artists provided, together with the relaxation of being chauffeured around and not be concerned with directions or timing made this tour so worthwhile. I will definitely do this tour again.
